today is such a long but fun day!
woke up early to meet jieying for breakfast before we met peizhen to go to habourfront to meet junhao and kelvin. junhao has recommended a job for us. so, we went for interview.
it's at mt faber, and we have to take cable car in order to get up there. and kelvin was darn scared! hahaha. jieying and junhao were teasing him and scaring him, telling him how scary the cable cars in genting are. and he was really horrified.
but the view from cable car is nice! nothing to be afraid of LA!
the 'manager' or whoever spoke to us, asked us some questions and yea, WE'VE GOT THE JOB!
mt faber is a nice place, suitable for couples. heheh.
went vivo afterwards. it got a little boring.
when we were on our way out, jieying and i spotted subway! we only intended to buy the cookies but ended up buying the meal.. we weren't hungry but just felt like munching on something. and i ate most of the cold cut while jieying had most of the cookies.
it's real hard to persuade peizhen to even have a bite of cookie. but i managed to persuade her while jieying couldn't! hahaha.
peizhen went home, leaving jieying, kelvin, junhao and me.
kelvin was supposed to meet his mother first before meeting us again, so jieying, junhao and i went to jurong library to renew my book's dateline and to meet yunye.
the 3 of us got a little tempted by the thoughts of pool, we couldn't wait for yunye and kelvin anymore, and we went to play first.
yunye came while junhao was about to go crazy when teaching the 2 beginners. we really sucked man. i even hit myself with the cue LA! wth. luckily only yunye saw. hahaha. but it was real embarrassing alright?! but we got better and better! jieying, junhao and i teamed up and played against yunye and kelvin.
i don't really know who won. but who cares. it was fun.
and we played for 2 hours without even knowing it.
kelvin treated us dinner! pizzahut! thanks birthday boy! :D
i guess we were a disaster.
first, the waiter spilled the water at our table and the manager was so angry with him.
second, we realised that something's wrong with the soup. it was so diluted and so powdery? jieying even found an unknown substance in her soup. i claimed that it was scallop and they laughed out real loud can.
so i said that it may be lizard and yunye said could be, cause the lizard might have get bloated after soaking in the soup for so long. and the soup was sour, it was chicken cream soup and not tom-yam soup or whatsoever soury soup.
and they took the whole pot of soup into the kitchen. they brought it out and it's much much better.
junhao went home after the hearty feast.
jieying, kelvin, yunye and i went for some neo-prints. it's to let kelvin remember that he had spent his 16th birthday with us!
it's a gift from us to kelvin! it was real fun.
and yea. that's all about today!
oh yea! i won the boys in datona! heheh!
